The world’s smallest commercial flight operates in the Orkney Islands of Scotland. This flight flies between two islands named Westray and Papa Westray. The distance between these two places is only 1.7 miles i.e. about 2.7 kilometers. This distance is less than the length of the runway of London’s Heathrow Airport. There are no major security checks on this route, so there is no need to take out laptops or liquids. The pilot allocates seats to passengers according to weight to balance the aircraft.
