With the introduction of direct flights, there has been a huge reduction in fares, which are about 30,000 taka cheaper than before.

Visa rules and travel conditions
With this new beginning, some things have also been clarified in the visa rules. Pakistan has changed its policy from January 1, 2026, under which ordinary citizens will have to use the E-visa system for travel. At the same time, a 5-year agreement has been signed between the two countries for those holding diplomatic and official passports, through which they will be able to travel without visa. Boeing 737 aircraft with 162 seats is being used on this route.
Passengers will get direct benefit
There were about 140 to 150 passengers on the first flight, which shows that there is a lot of demand among the people for this route. Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori and other officials welcomed the flight at Karachi Airport. Officials say that this is still an initial phase and depending on the number of passengers, the number of flights can be increased in future. This is also expected to boost trade and tourism.
