Saturday was the hottest day of February in Delhi in the last three years. The maximum temperature recorded in the capital on Saturday was 32 degrees Celsius, which was much higher than the normal temperature in the month of February. According to the Meteorological Department, this unusual heat was a bit uncomfortable for the city residents, especially in the afternoon.

The Meteorological Department has also issued a forecast for Sunday. According to this, no major change will be seen in the day temperature in Delhi today. There is a possibility of strong surface winds in the capital, which people may feel slightly in the afternoon. However, the sky is likely to remain clear and no weather warning has been issued at present.

Meteorologists say that there will be slight coolness in the morning and evening, while the sun will be strong in the afternoon. The weather will remain dry throughout the day in the capital, due to which the effect of both sun and wind will be felt more due to lack of moisture. Thus, it will be important to take care of heat and strong sunlight while going out.

A senior meteorological department official said, “This much heat has not been seen in the capital in February in the last three years. This change is more than the normal climate pattern. However, there is no need to issue any kind of warning at the moment, but people should take care of sunshine and strong winds in their daily activities.”

Due to such unusual heat in the capital, people are able to spend time comfortably in parks and open spaces in the morning and evening. At the same time, while going out in the afternoon, it is important to have light clothes and adequate amount of water. Experts have advised people to avoid spending too much time in the sun and maintain a cool environment indoors.

According to the Meteorological Department, this dry weather is likely to continue for the next few days. Dust and pollution particles may spread slightly due to strong surface winds, but at present there is no visible serious impact. Apart from this, due to the clear sky in the capital, the sun’s rays are reaching the ground directly, due to which the temperature is feeling higher than normal.

Experts said that such unusual heat in the month of February can also affect farmers and business activities. Farming and planting may be affected in areas around Delhi, while movement of people may be affected in markets and on roads due to intense sunlight.

Overall, the weather will be dry and sunny in the capital this week. People can take advantage of the coolness of the morning and evening to enjoy outdoor activities, but caution is necessary during the afternoon. At present, the Meteorological Department has not issued any alert or warning, due to which the situation remains normal.
