Amidst the ongoing regional tensions in UAE, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) and Khaleej Times According to the report, till March 5, 2026, a total of 94 people have been injured. UAE security agencies have been continuously foiling air strikes since the beginning of the US-Israel-Iran conflict. There are reports of debris from destroyed missiles falling in some parts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Six people suffered minor injuries from debris in Abu Dhabi. If we look at the total figures from February 28 till now, the situation is serious but under control:
Total Ballistic Missiles: 196 were detected (181 destroyed, 13 lost in the sea).
Total Drones: 1,072 detected (1,001 intercepted).
Casualties: A total of 3 people have died who were citizens of Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh.
Injured: The 94 injured include people from many countries including India, Pakistan, Philippines and Egypt.
Important rules and advisories for migrants
In this stressful environment, strict rules have been issued for Indians and other expatriates living in UAE. Ministry of Interior (MoI) has given a clear warning that no person should make a video of missile interception or security alert nor share it on social media. Doing so may result in legal action.
simultaneously, India and UK has issued a travel advisory for its citizens. Airlines have started operating ‘limited flights’ keeping security in mind. The government has appealed to the people to trust only official sources and avoid rumours.
