On March 5, 2026, several loud explosions were heard in the sky in Manama, the capital of Bahrain. Bahrain Defense Force took immediate action and destroyed many missiles and drones coming from the enemy side in the air. Army shot down 123 drones and 75 missiles in the air
According to the information given by Bahrain Defense Force, a total of 75 missiles and 123 drones have been shot down so far under Operation Truthful Promise 4. These attacks were mainly targeted at residential areas, private properties and areas around the US Navy’s 5th Fleet Headquarters in Manama. Officials said Iranian forces were behind the attacks. During the attack, a fire broke out due to debris on a ship in Salman Industrial City, which was later extinguished.

The Interior Ministry has strictly advised all citizens and expatriates working there to stay indoors. The administration has warned that if anyone sees any missile or drone debris falling on the ground, then do not go near it at all or take its photo, because it can be fatal. Due to security reasons, many airlines like Emirates and Gulf Air have stopped or reduced their flights, due to which passengers traveling to India and other countries are facing problems. Earlier, news of the death of an Asian worker after being hit by debris had also come to light.
