New Delhi, March 6 (IANS). Daily yoga practice plays an important role in adopting a healthy lifestyle. Many people know about common yoga asanas, but very few know about Uthita Parsvakonasana. Regular practice of this asana can provide many physical benefits to the body.
‘Utthita Parsvakonasana’ is a Sanskrit word, meaning extended ‘side angle pose’. This is a standing yoga asana, which combines the elements and opens the side parts of the body.
Regular practice of this causes deep stretch on both sides of the body, which provides relief from back pain and makes the spine flexible. Yoga experts believe that practicing it daily for 30-60 seconds can improve lifestyle. However, a balanced diet should also be taken along with it.
It is very easy to do this. For this, first of all spread both the legs away from each other on the yoga mat. Now slowly bend the toes of the right foot outwards from the knee and sit down in the same posture. Then place your right hand on the ground near the right foot and try to keep the left hand straight upwards at a 90 degree angle. Try to remain in this posture for some time, then gradually become normal. However, beginners may face some difficulty in doing this, but gradually they will get used to it and the body will start opening up.
The Ministry of AYUSH has thrown important light on the benefits of doing this. According to him, it is a standing yoga asana that massages the abdominal organs, improves digestion, and strengthens the legs and spine. Apart from this, flexibility also increases in the body and has a positive effect on the spine.
At the same time, it also gives peace to the mind and keeps away from mental stress.
Its regular practice can provide many benefits to the body, but initially do it only under the supervision of a yoga expert, and if you have any serious injury, migraine, or have recently undergone any surgery, then consult a doctor or yoga expert before doing it.
