Saharanpur, March 19 (IANS). In Varanasi, the controversy deepened over some Muslim youth throwing the remains of Iftar party and biryani in the river Ganga on a boat. On this, Congress leader Imran Masood raised questions and said, why is there so much ruckus about this? He said that there is no need to give much importance to it.

Speaking to news agency IANS on Thursday, he said that today the plight of river Ganga is not hidden from anyone. All the waste material is discharged into the river Ganga, but till now the government has taken no steps in this direction. The situation has become such that till now the government has not taken any step in this direction, but those youths went there and had Iftar there, they were arrested. Now the police will not only arrest but will also beat them with batons, because these youths belong to the Muslim community.

Apart from this, Congress leader Imran Masood also slammed the Muslim youth who had Iftar in the river Ganga. He said that I am not able to understand why these people went to break fast in the river Ganga? If you had to have Iftar, you would have gone somewhere else or else you would have had Iftar at your home. There is no question of going near river Ganga. Anyway these people hate the people of Muslim community. Don’t want to see them. The entire agenda of these people is being operated against the Muslim community. In such a situation, these people should not have gone near the river Ganga and broken the fast.

At the same time, he also targeted Congress MP Shashi Tharoor. He said that Tharoor Sahab, it would be better for you not to favor the Prime Minister too much. This is not going to benefit you in any way. The process of war started after the Prime Minister’s visit to Israel. Which has affected India also. Now the situation has become such that the people of the country are standing in queues.

He further said that I want to make one thing clear that Iran will not lose the war. I have been saying this since day one that Iran is not going to lose the war at any cost. Iran has also proved this. Now look at the situation in America itself. The process of infighting has started there. The situation there has become such that the process of resignations that has started is showing no signs of stopping.

He said that now if someone has even thought that he has to die or has to carry the burden of death, then in such a situation what will you do with him. Now the situation has become such that Trump is not coming to Israel. They are making continuous statements only from America.
