Bahraich, 16 September (IANS) All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Uttar Pradesh Chief Shaukat Ali has once again been involved in controversies over his statement. Recently, an FIR has been lodged against him in Bahraich for making indecent remarks on Maharaja Suheldev.
The case has been filed by the District General Secretary of the Hindu Raksha Dal Tilakaram Mishra. He has alleged that Shaukat Ali has insulted a great warrior like Maharaja Suheldev, which cannot be tolerated at any cost.
In fact, during the meeting with party workers in Bahraich, Shaukat Ali had said in his address that Salar Masood Ghazi was not a robber, but Suheldev was a robber. He further said that Salar Masood Ghazi was a Muslim and Muslims are justice. When Suheldev started injustice and atrocities, Salar Masood Ghazi came to fight against him.
This statement by Shaukat Ali spread heavy resentment among Hindu organizations. Several organizations, including the Hindu Raksha Dal, expressed strict displeasure, calling this statement tampering with history and public sentiments.
District General Secretary of Hindu Raksha Dal Tilakaram Mishra has filed a case against Shaukat Ali and Feroz Bagwan by giving a tahrir to the police station. The FIR has demanded that strict action should be taken against both for this disputed statement. The organization says that Maharaja Suheldev is the pride and symbol of the country, who fought against the invaders. Telling such a great hero is not only to distort history, but is also an attempt to provoke public sentiments.
Please tell that Uttar Pradesh Chief Shaukat Ali had also given a statement about Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham. He had said that Dhirendra Shastri, who talks about Sanatan and Hindutva, go to Dubai and eat biryani in the house of Sheikhs. He alleged that Dhirendra Shastri is working to fool the public.
