Lucknow, April 17 (IANS). On Saturday, once again the active presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be seen in the election scenario of West Bengal. This visit of Yogi, who is among the star campaigners of the party, is being considered strategically important, in which he will sharpen the election environment through continuous programs in three districts spread from North to South.

As per the scheduled programme, the Chief Minister will reach Mathabhanga assembly constituency of Cooch Behar district at 12 noon and address a public meeting in support of BJP candidate Nishith Pramanik. BJP is trying to strengthen its hold in this border area and Chief Minister Yogi’s meeting is being seen as an important link in this direction. After this, Yogi Adityanath’s helicopter will head towards Dhupguri assembly in Jalpaiguri district, where he will hold a public meeting in favor of BJP candidate Naresh Chandra Rai at 1:20 pm. This time there is special emphasis on further strengthening the base which the party had prepared in the previous elections in this belt of North Bengal.

In the last phase of the day, the Chief Minister will reach Bankura at 4:15 pm, where his road show is proposed in support of BJP candidate Niladri Shekhar Dana. There are preparations for a show of strength through a road show in Bankura, which is considered an important part of the Jangalmahal area. Extensive preparations have been made at the local level and there are indications of a large crowd gathering. Party sources say that the crowd gathering in Yogi Adityanath’s meetings in recent days has filled new enthusiasm among the workers.

The crowd gathering in the public meetings of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is being seen as an important sign in this election. The situation at the meeting places is becoming such that people are showing tremendous eagerness to get a glimpse of the Chief Minister. At many places the crowd is becoming so huge that there is no space left to even step foot. People arrive much before the meeting starts, secure their places and stay till the end. This scene not only points towards the growing support base of BJP at the local level, but is also giving new energy to the morale of the workers.
