NEET Re Exam 2026: Bihar government has made a big announcement for the students appearing in NEET exam 2026. Making a big announcement, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that travel in government buses will be completely free for NEET candidates across the state. Students going from any district of Bihar to another district to take the examination will not have to pay any fare in government buses.
The Chief Minister informed about this decision through his official social media platform X. He wrote that keeping in mind the convenience of all the candidates appearing in the NEET examination, arrangements have been made for free travel in all the government buses of Bihar state. Along with this, the Chief Minister also appealed to the district administration, temples, monasteries and social organizations to cooperate in arranging drinking water, sattu and other necessary facilities for the candidates and their parents at bus stands, railway stations and other important places.
For the convenience of all the candidates appearing in the NEET examination, travel will be free in all government buses of Bihar state.
Also, the district administration, all the monasteries, temples and non-government organizations of the state are requested to provide security to the candidates at the bus stand, railway station and other important places.

There is an atmosphere of happiness among the students due to this decision of the government. Especially the students reaching the examination center from rural areas and far-flung districts are going to get a lot of relief from this. If a student is going to appear for examination in Patna or other city from Motihari, Gaya, Bhagalpur or any other district, he will get the facility of free travel in a government bus. NEET exam 2026 was canceled after the paper leak controversy. Now the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to conduct the examination again. According to the agency’s notification, NEET re-exam will be conducted on June 21, 2026. The examination will be held in a single shift from 2 pm to 5.15 pm.
Meanwhile, NTA has issued another important information for the students. The agency has launched a special portal for examination fee refund, where students can submit their bank account details. This facility will be available from 22 May to 27 May 2026. Candidates have to enter their name, bank account number, IFSC code and bank name. This initiative of Bihar government is being considered as a big step in the interest of students, which will provide financial and travel related relief to thousands of candidates.
