New Delhi, January 14 (IANS). There is political turmoil over Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi’s statement comparing India and China. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hit back and said that Rahul Gandhi has become the head of the ‘Bharat Defamation Brigade’, that is why he continuously spreads false propaganda against the country.
BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala, while talking to news agency IANS, said that Rahul Gandhi LOP does not mean ‘Leader of Opposition’ but ‘Leader of Propaganda’. Rahul Gandhi sometimes gives statements against the democratic system of India and sometimes against the constitutional institutions of the country.
Shahzad Poonawala said, “Rahul Gandhi calls the Indian economy a ‘dead economy’. He makes statements against the country’s manufacturing. Today, when India’s economy has come down from 11th to fourth place and manufacturing is continuously increasing, then again Rahul Gandhi has spread propaganda against India.” BJP spokesperson alleged that Congress gets donations from China, hence they promote China.
BJP national spokesperson RP Singh, replying to Rahul Gandhi, said, “The Prime Minister constantly emphasizes on promoting Tamil language, Tamil culture and Tamil heritage. He has initiated programs like Tamil Sangam and actively participates in such programs. In his speeches, he constantly talks about the Tamil language and its age-old traditions. The Prime Minister says that Tamil language should also be used in education, including medical exams and professional exams, that is why Rahul Gandhi is facing problems because the Congress party government did not do all this.”
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said, “Rahul Gandhi, first of all consider yourself an Indian, become an Indian and connect yourself with Indian culture and tradition. Even today, only his maternal home and foreign countries are attracted to him. When he emerges from this mentality, then every work of India will seem good, every person of India will like it and India will be seen as a leader of the world.”
Vijay Kumar Sinha said that India led the entire world even in history. That opportunity has come again, so Rahul Gandhi should become an Indian first. They should know the people here and be proud of the pride of the country.
