New Delhi, February 16 (IANS). Five Indian startups will present their AI-based solutions in the gaming and interactive technology category of the ‘India AI Impact Summit 2026’.
According to the government, these startups will show that India’s role in the fields of AI, gaming, immersive media and enterprise transformation is rapidly strengthening. The official statement said that the participation of these startups reflects India’s growing potential in AI-based gaming, immersive experiences, cognitive transformation and interactive storytelling.
According to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, a startup will introduce an AI platform that can create ready-made game assets such as character designs, backgrounds, UI elements, storyboards and animations for games with speed and accuracy. The second startup will showcase a multiplayer cricket game with over 18 million global users and a generative AI based real-time commentary engine. A third startup will show off a mobile handheld gaming system designed to transform smartphones into console-level gaming devices.
The ministry said that the presence of these startups reflects the country’s larger goal under which India wants to create AI-based global scale platforms and become a leader in next generation digital innovation.
There will also be a special panel discussion during the summit, where global investors and industry experts will discuss the growing investment and opportunities in AI-based game development and interactive media in India. In this session, new investment trends, AI related production processes, skill development and necessary policies will be considered.
This summit is a major global conference based on Artificial Intelligence, which will involve governments, technology companies, startups, investors, researchers and policy makers. Pavilions of 13 countries will also be set up in the program, which includes participation from African countries including Australia, Japan, Russia, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan.
Policymakers also said that the first step towards AI-based prosperity should start from education and basic skills improvement.
