Main Wapas Aaunga: After the stupendous success of the recently released Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha, actor-writer Adivi Shesh has now openly praised filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s new film Main Wapas Aaunga.
After winning the hearts of audiences both in theaters and OTT, Shesh shared an emotional post praising the film on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). He described it as one of Imtiaz Ali’s best films and called it a celebration of love, human relationships and hope.
Starring actors like Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharvari, Vedang Raina and Rajat Kapoor, Main Waaspa Aaunga is receiving a great response from the audience and cinema lovers. Adding to the praise for the film, Adivi Shesh called it “a modern-day classic set in a bygone era” and praised its way of depicting relationships between generations.
In his post, Shesh wrote:

The Major Aur Dacoit Ek Prem Katha actor praised all the actors of the film. He made special mention of Diljit Dosanjh’s charismatic acting, Vedang Raina’s commanding presence, and the stellar work of Sharvari and Rajat Kapoor. However, what impressed him the most was veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah.
Describing Naseeruddin Shah as the emotional center of the film, Shesh said that his acting cannot be praised enough. He described Shah’s acting as an example of nuance, poise and amazing art that can be called a true masterclass of acting.
He worked with composer A.R. Rahman’s music and said that his music made the emotional journey of the film even more impactful. He also congratulated producers Shibasish Sarkar, Sameer Nair, Deepak Segal, Window Seat Films and Mohit Chaudhary for supporting this great film.
