Bhilwara. A case of rape of a married woman has come to light in a hotel located in Tilswa Mahadev of Bijolia police station area. Based on the report lodged by a 35-year-old woman, the police have registered a case and started investigation. The police reached the concerned hotel and inspected the spot and started investigating various aspects related to the case. Police Officer Swagat Pandya said that a victim from the police station area has alleged in the report that about a year ago the accused youth had called her on the pretext of visiting Tilswa Mahadev. It is alleged that after this the young man took her to a hotel, where she was raped. After the incident, the accused kept blackmailing the woman and demanding money from her. Pandya told that due to the houses of the accused young man and the woman being nearby, there was already communication and acquaintance between them. Taking advantage of this introduction, the accused took the woman into his trap. The woman works as a laborer and remained silent for a long time due to alleged threats and pressure from the accused.
It is being told that after being fed up with the continuous blackmailing and demand of money by the accused, the woman finally informed her husband about the entire incident. After this, he reached the police station with his family and a case was registered against the accused.
After the woman’s complaint, the police reached the concerned hotel and inspected the spot. Police have started checking the records, registers and other documents of the hotel. People associated with the case are also being interrogated so that the truth of the entire incident can be brought out.
Police Officer Swagat Pandya said that in view of the seriousness of the matter, investigation is going on. The incident site has been inspected and necessary evidence is being collected. Further legal action will be taken based on whatever facts emerge in the investigation.
