Constable Result 2026: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the result of Delhi Police Constable Recruitment Examination 2026. The cutoff marks have also been declared along with the list of successful candidates in the examination, which has surprised many candidates. Now the selected candidates will be called for the next stages of the recruitment process.

According to the result released by the Commission, a total of 66,076 candidates have been shortlisted for Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) and document verification. These include 43,841 male and 22,235 female candidates.

Cutoff attracted attention

This time there was a special discussion among the candidates regarding the cutoff of different categories. In the male category, there was a slight difference in the cutoff marks of General and Other Backward Classes (OBC), while the cutoffs for Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) remained relatively lower.

In the women category also, the cutoff of General and OBC category remained almost at the same level. Whereas for other reserved categories, a significant difference was seen in the cutoff.

Lakhs of candidates had given the exam

Delhi Police Constable Recruitment Examination was conducted from 18 December 2025 to 6 January 2026 at various examination centers across the country. More than 27 lakh candidates had applied for this recruitment process, making it one of the major competitive examinations in the country.

Now what will happen next?

Candidates successful in Computer Based Test (CBT) will now be called for Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT). After this the process of document verification (DV) and medical examination will be completed. The final selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in all the stages.
