Jaipur. Shri Himanshu Gupta, Special Secretary and Commissioner, Information Technology and Communications Department, on Sunday conducted a comprehensive review of the preparations for the ’29th National e-Governance Conference’ (NCEG) to be held at Rajasthan International Center (RIC), Jaipur on 1st and 2nd July at the conference venue. The Commissioner gave necessary directions to the concerned officials to ensure arrangements in a timely manner and to organize the conference dignified and successful. After this, Commissioner Shri Himanshu Gupta held a meeting of officials at Bhamashah Techno Hub and finalized the preparations for the ’29th National E-Governance Conference’. This two-day prestigious e-Governance National Conference is being organized under the joint aegis of Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India and Government of Rajasthan. NASSCOM and Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur are the knowledge partners in this grand event.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will inaugurate
The grand inauguration of the conference will be done by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Wednesday, July 1. Information Technology and Communications Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore will also address the inaugural session and share the roadmap for digital innovations in the state.
Minister of State for Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh will distribute National e-Governance Awards
The closing and prize distribution ceremony will be held on July 2, the second day of the conference. Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions will participate in the ceremony as the chief guest and ‘National e-Governance Awards 2026’ will be presented by his dignitaries to the winners who have done excellent work in the field of e-governance across the country.
“Developed India 2047: AI Enabled, Data Driven and Secure Digital Governance” Main Theme
This year the main theme of the two-day conference has been “Developed India 2047: AI Enabled, Data Driven and Secure Digital Governance”. The main objective of the conference is to strengthen mutual cooperation between the Central and State Governments, industry and academic institutions in the field of e-Governance, exchange best practices and discuss the latest dimensions of digital governance to realize the vision of Developed India 2047.
Various technical sessions will be organized during the conference
The conference will organize 6 Plenary Sessions and 6 Breakout Sessions to brainstorm on various administrative and technical aspects of Digital Governance – ‘AI Based Governance for All’, ‘Bridging Digital Divide – Voice First Solutions in Important Public Services’, ‘Driving Urban – Transformation through Technology’, ‘AI for Smart Policing and Public Safety’, ‘Citizen Centric Governance: Plenary sessions will be held on the topics ‘Inclusive Governance’ and ‘Digital Interventions to Enhance Access and Quality of School Education’. Six breakout sessions will also be organized on the topics ‘Deep Tech and Quantum Driven Digital Transformation’, ‘AI and Digital Infrastructure for Secure Public Services’, ‘Grassroots Governance: Digital Decentralised, Data-Driven’, ‘Excellence in e-Governance Initiatives by Gold Awardees of NCEG 2026 – One’, ‘Excellence in The e-Governance Initiatives by Gold Awardees of NCEG 2026 – 2 are ‘Empowering Youth, Accelerating Innovation, Transforming Governance’.
In all these important sessions, senior administrative officers of Central and State Governments, policy makers, subject experts and professors from reputed educational institutions, industry experts and representatives of various projects winning Gold Award of National e-Governance Award from across the country will participate and share their views and experiences.
This conference will provide an important platform towards inclusive, transparent and citizen-centric governance through AI, Deep Tech, Quantum Computing, Voice First Solutions and Secure Digital Infrastructure.
