New Delhi, 25 September (IANS). Phonpe has re -launched its comprehensive firecracker insurance coverage by providing protection from firecrackers accidents in this season of festivals.
This affordable plan is available for only Rs 11 with GST, in which coverage of up to Rs 25,000 is being given during the 11 days of festivals.
The objective of this initiative is to give better security and trust to the buyers so that they can enjoy festivals and be careless that they will face problems in financial assistance in the event of any accident.
The upcoming festive season is the peak time for the use of firecrackers, the PhonePe has resumed the firecracker insurance plan to celebrate the festival with full surety.
Buyers can take insured amount of up to Rs 25,000 for a slight fee of only Rs 11 and can cover their entire family, ie, in the same policy, in addition to themselves, their spouse and 2 children. This coverage is valid for 11 days from October 12.
For the policy purchased after this date, coverage will be valid for 11 days from the date of purchase. This plan is simple, transparent and easily available.
Users can buy a policy directly on the PhonePe app in less than a minute and get coverage for hospitalization (more than 24 hours), day-care treatment (less than 24 hours) and accidental death.

Step 1: Open the insurance section on the PhonePe app and choose a firecracker insurance.
Step 2: Select the plan details and benefits of your plan with an insured amount of Rs 25,000 and fixed premium of Rs 11.
Step 3: You will be able to see the information of the insurance company and get detailed details of the benefits of the plan.
Step 4: Finally, fill the policyholder’s information, tap on ‘proceed to pay’ to complete the process.
