Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday assured help to flood-affected farmers in Marathwada and other areas of the state due to heavy rains. Shinde said that Mahayuti government has started providing financial assistance of Rs 10,000 in cash as well as Rs 10,000 in the flood affected areas.

Reiterating the state government’s attitude to support the farmers in the time of crisis, he said that about 60 lakh hectares of land has been affected by crop damage. Shiv Sena chief Shinde addressed a press conference here, saying, “Many areas of Maharashtra have flooded and this is a big problem for farmers. Rain is unprecedented. Rain is unprecedented. At this time the government stands with the farmers. We will have a complete figure of damaged crops and other things in the next 2-3 days in the land of about 60 lakh hectares.

He said, “In the cabinet meeting we also discussed that we will help farmers regardless of the rules and conditions. It is the responsibility of the government to help the farmers in such a crisis. In the coming days we (I, the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ajit Dada) will sit together and take a decision for the farmers.”

The Deputy Chief Minister also discussed the human damage caused by floods and heavy rains and damage to crops, land and houses, some of which are still immersed in water. Shinde said, “Crops, land and houses have been damaged. Cattle and people have lost their lives. Still some houses are submerged in water. I am still repeating that the government will not reconcile the farmers and Prime Minister. Is. We have seen that the center is standing with the farmers and we expect the same this time.

Convizing the media persons with the efforts of Mahayuti in providing essential items to the needy people, Shinde appealed to the opposition to join hands with the government in assisting people. Come together to help people. “

He added, “We have to take care of cleanliness in the affected areas so that any infectious disease can be avoided in those areas. Help

The Deputy Chief Minister said, “We will only call our Shiv Sena workers of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) for the Dussehra rally and workers from other areas will try to help farmers and other people in flood affected areas. We have always been doing 80 percent social work and 20 percent politics. It is time to do social work and help people.”

He said, “We will organize our Dussehra rally in Nesco (indoor space).” Political controversy arose over the printing of Shinde on relief material for the flood victims and the opposition criticized the Deputy Chief Minister. Reacting to this, he said, “He said,” He has seen the photo, but did not see the relief material, there is no need to do politics. There is no need to do it. I want to tell them that there were also pictures of him on the relief material distributed earlier. “
