Bihar Politics: Prashant Kishore (PK), the founder of Jan Suraj, is now in the fray with a dream of becoming a “king” but not just a “kingmaker”. He wandered from village to village in the last two years and searched the pulse of people’s issues and politics. Now as soon as the electoral atmosphere is hot, PK is visible in full enthusiasm and is directly challenging the big leaders. Initially PK had targeted RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, but now his focus is on NDA and JDU leaders. Especially Ashok Chaudhary, who is considered close to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has directly attacked him.
Apart from this, PK has also attacked BJP Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, State President Dilip Jaiswal, former president Sanjay Jaiswal and Minister Mangal Pandey, ie it is clear that PK is not in the mood for any agreement in the politics of Bihar and one by one, all the big leaders are taking target.
PK politics and Kejriwal’s impact
In Prashant Kishore’s politics, Arvind Kejriwal’s style is clearly visible. For example, before entering politics, Kejriwal surrounded big leaders in corruption questions and presented himself as a leader with honest image, similarly PK is also working in Bihar. He has targeted those leaders who are considered to be the most important faces and big leaders of their parties. PK’s strategy is to first install yourself as a leader with honest and clean image among the public and then attack the opponents directly. In the politics of Bihar, PK’s entire focus is on surrounding these leaders and creating an electoral atmosphere around them.
PK attacks Heat the politics of Bihar
Prashant Kishore is coming out these days with new allegations and documents every day. For this reason, the pressure on both BJP and JDU parties has increased. Now the situation is such that questions are being raised on their leaders from within these parties. PK has come to the center of discussion amidst Bihar electoral atmosphere.
Who is the target of PK?
PK has directly surrounded Ashok Chaudhary, a close minister of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Along with this, BJP Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Minister Mangal Pandey, State President Dilip Jaiswal and former president Sanjay Jaiswal are also on his target. PK’s clear strategy is visible behind these leaders targeting, they are targeting the same faces, which JDU and BJP are leading the elections. PK is trying to tarnish their image through allegations.
Question on Nitish’s special leader Ashok Chaudhary
Ashok Chaudhary is counted among the trusted leaders of Nitish Kumar and is considered a Dalit face of JDU. He is currently the Minister of Rural Affairs in the Nitish government. Ashok Chaudhary also played an important role for JDU in the 2020 assembly elections. But now after the target of PK, there has been a stir within the party. JDU spokesperson Neeraj Kumar says that Ashok Chaudhary should clear the situation on the allegations. He said that for the first time JDU is going through such a big fire test, while the party has always been running on the policy of zero tolerance in corruption cases.
PK made heavy allegations against Ashok Chaudhary
Prashant Kishore has alleged that JDU leader Ashok Chaudhary and his family bought land worth about 200 crores in the last two years. PK also released a full list of four big land deals in this regard. Along with this, he said that he has more evidence against Ashok Chaudhary. When Ashok Chaudhary sent a defamation notice of Rs 100 crore to PK, Prashant Kishore took an even more aggressive stand. Although JDU has not yet taken any strict action against Ashok Chaudhary, but Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has distanced him. In such a situation, Ashok Chaudhary, who lives on the first frontfoot, is now seen standing on the backfoot.
BJP’s ‘Chaudhary’ also in the dock
The BJP had put forward Deputy Chief Minister Emperor Chaudhary and State President Dilip Jaiswal in Bihar under the election strategy so that the OBC vote bank could be served. The two leaders were batting on the frontfoot and batting. But now Prashant Kishore has also taken him on his target. PK has accused Emperor Chaudhary of changing names, involvement in murder and failing seventh grade. At the same time, PK said that he could also be jailed for six months. BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal has been accused of capturing the medical college in Kishanganj.
PK targeted BJP leaders
Prashant Kishore has targeted Bihar BJP leader and Health Minister Mangal Pandey. PK has made serious allegations of corruption on him. It is being told that during the Kovid epidemic, Mangal Pandey bought a flat in Delhi for Rs 86 lakh, in which he got the help of Dilip Jaiswal. After this, PK says that Mangal Pandey immediately gave Dilip Jaiswal’s college the status of deemed university as well as PK has also targeted former BJP president and MP Sanjay Jaiswal and has accused him of oil scam. Sanjay Jaiswal is considered a veteran leader of the party. In this way, Prashant Kishore has put many BJP leaders in political dock.
Questions started to arise inside BJP too
After PK’s allegations, now the voice has started coming from inside the BJP. Former Union Minister R.K. Singh said that Dilip Jaiswal and Emperor Chaudhary should respond to these allegations. He warned that if this does not happen, the credibility of the party and the government could be questioned. In this way, the BJP is currently seen stuck in Kashmaksh.
PK’s political attack
The allegations of fodder scam on Lalu Prasad Yadav earlier in Bihar damaged his “social justice” politics, which gave Nitish Kumar a chance to emerge in politics. Now PK is targeting the image of Nitish Kumar’s “honest leader”, adopting the same strategy. Nitish Kumar’s entire politics rests on honesty, but after PK’s allegations, questions are being raised on him. The BJP has always fought its political battle by raising the issue of corruption on Lalu Yadav’s family, but now its situation has become challenging. While Ashok Chaudhary is close to Nitish Kumar, Emperor Chaudhary and Dilip Jaiswal are considered close to the BJP leadership. In such a situation, the question arises as to how the BJP will strengthen the issue of corruption against the Lalu family in the elections, while its own leaders are in political dock.
