New Delhi, 4 October (). Mahmood Abbas, head of Palestinian Authority, has welcomed US President Donald Trump’s Hamas’s response to the announcement. According to Abbas, this response is an important step towards the release of the hostages and the creative dialogue, which has hoped for permanent peace in the Middle East.
According to a statement issued by the Palestinian Authority President’s office, “We welcome these statements as they indicate the desire to release all the hostages and adopt a constructive approach in this important phase, which needs all to fulfill the highest level of national responsibility.” The statement thanked Trump and Arab and Muslim countries for efforts towards the agreement to end the war.
The statement said, “What is important for us now is immediate commitment to full ceasefire, release of all hostages and prisoners, immediate supply of human assistance through United Nations Organizations, ensuring prevention of displacement or merger and the beginning of the reconstruction process.”
Israel’s advice has also been given in it. It is written, “We will continue to work with the concerned intermediaries and partners to ensure the success of these efforts, establishing a permanent peace that can eliminate the Israeli occupation of Palestine.”
In his statement, the PA chief, while addressing the International fraternity, while addressing the attack on religious places and the problems of the displaced, said, “The international community forces Israel to stop all its unilateral steps that violate international laws.”
Abbas further stated that an independent, sovereign Palestinian state, with Israel, is a natural partner for stability in the region, and now a permanent peace time has come to guarantee security and justice to all the people of the region.
