Police said that the man believed that a person's behavior while driving often reflects discipline, patience and a sense of social responsibility, so he inquired about the old challans before giving permission for the marriage. After investigation, police did not find any pending challans or serious traffic violations related to the vehicles. The officer said he was pleasantly surprised by the unusual request and appreciated the man's responsible and practical approach in finding a husband for his daughter.
