Lucknow, Amrit Vichar: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while inaugurating ‘Somnath Swabhiman Yatra Uttar Pradesh’ under ‘Somnath Swabhiman Parv’ in Lucknow, said that despite centuries of invasions, India’s eternal faith has remained steadfast and is moving forward with full strength even today. He said that just as the soul is immortal, in the same way eternal faith is also a symbol of the immortal path.
In a program organized at Gomtinagar railway station, Chief Minister Yogi said that history is witness that foreign invaders repeatedly attacked India’s culture and faith, but they could neither break it nor bend it. Referring to the attacks on Somnath temple, he said that despite the barbarity of the invaders, the power of Sanatan Dharma remained intact and today it is re-establishing itself at its peak with the feeling of “Yato Dharmastato Jai”. He recalled the contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Dr. Rajendra Prasad, describing the revival of Somnath Temple in independent India as a symbol of cultural self-respect. The Chief Minister said that even at that time there were some obstacles, but they could not stand before the determination of Sardar Patel and the reconstruction of the temple was possible.
Yogi said that today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the same cultural renaissance is reaching new heights. Referring to the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, the development of Kashi Vishwanath Dham corridor and other pilgrimage sites, he said that now the liveliness of Kashi, the dignity of Ayodhya, the devotion of Mathura-Vrindavan and the harmony of Prayagraj are visible together in Uttar Pradesh. He said that under this yatra, more than 1000 devotees from the state are leaving for Somnath Dham in Gujarat, for whom special trains have been arranged. He said that this Yatra is not just a religious event, but a symbol of India’s faith, unity and cultural pride, which will help connect the country to its roots.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Lucknow Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad, MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora, OP Srivastava, Legislative Council members Pawan Chauhan, Mukesh Sharma, Lal Ji Prasad Nirmal and Additional Chief Secretary Tourism and Culture Department Amrit Abhijat were present.
Jai Shri Ram echoes as soon as the name of Ayodhya is mentioned.
The Chief Minister said that the work which was carried forward by Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Dr. Rajendra Prasad in independent India, is being taken to new heights today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 10-11 years ago no one could have imagined that a grand Ram temple would be built in Ayodhya. Today, wherever every Indian, country or world goes, only one voice echoes everywhere and that is Jai Shri Ram. When any Indian, whether in the country or abroad, hears the name of Ayodhya, Jai Shri Ram automatically comes out of his mouth and he immediately says that he has a great desire to go to Ayodhya.
