Ayodhya: A wonderful gift has arrived from Karnataka towards making Ram temple a world class spiritual centre. Inspired by Swami Vishwa Prasanna Teertha, head of the famous Pejavar Math of Udupi, his disciples have sent a special idol of Lord Rama. This grand statue weighing 500 kg and measuring 10×8 feet is an unmatched example of South Indian craftsmanship, studded with gold, silver and diamonds.
Trustee of Ram Mandir Trust, Dr. Anil Mishra said that this rare statue has reached through the postal department. It is planned to be installed in the Angad Tila area near Goswami Tulsidas Temple in the temple complex. The final location will be decided when Swamiji arrives in Ayodhya. This gift is not from any particular person, but is a tribute to Ram devotees on behalf of entire Karnataka.

When the idol was unveiled from a huge wooden box, many people including Champat Rai and Dr. Anil Mishra, general secretary of the temple trust, were present.
