The land of Ayodhya is such that you will find Ram in whatever form you want. Shri Ram is one, but black, dark and fair Ram will also be found. There are many traditions of worshiping Ram here. The number of relationships a normal human being has. In his birthplace he can be felt maintaining all those human relationships. By worshiping him with the same devotion, devotees also achieve their desired. After a long struggle, the place of Shri Ram’s birthplace was fixed. Ram is worshiped with devotion in the Siyaram Fort temple. Here the saints consider Mother Sita as their friend. He does the woman’s makeup. Worship Ram as his brother-in-law. There has been a long lineage of accomplished seekers from these temples. In temples like Kanak Bhavan, worship is done in the form of Baal and Yugal Sarkar.

Ayodhya is a small world from the point of view of tradition. There is a Maharashtrian style Kaleram temple here, where the idol of Ram is black in colour. There is also a temple of Gore Ram near the Saryu coast, where the idol of Ram is fair in colour. In the under-construction Ram temple, the court of King Ram has been decorated on the upper floor along with the dark-skinned Ram. There are many such temples in Ayodhya, where the court of King Ram is established.
Identification of Ram with Saryu
The holy Salila Mata Saryu, who is called by names like Netraja, Vashishthi, is identified with Ram. Devotees and devotees believe that as a child, Ram played and bathed on the banks of Saryu. It is said that Lord Ram treated Saryu like a mother. Therefore, after coming to Ayodhya, saints and devotees first take bath, darshan and worship Saryu.
Ayodhya after 500 years
Actually, Ayodhya never needed any identity and never will. It is the original city of creation, but after almost 500 years of struggle, the way for the construction of the temple at Shri Ram’s birthplace was paved, Ayodhya definitely got a new identity in the new environment. These days, Ram temple is the attraction of Ayodhya, but if you travel to Ayodhya along with it, you will get more pleasure if you reach the mythological sites along with other temples here.
