new Delhi: German luxury vehicle maker BMW has introduced the full electric ‘mini 3 door Cooper SE’ in the Indian market. Its showroom price in Delhi is Rs 47.2 lakh. BMW said in a statement on Thursday that the first batch of the car, available as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), was sold out during pre-bookings in the fourth quarter of 2021. Delivery to these customers will be done from March 2022.
According to the company, bookings for the next phase of delivery will be done from March 2022. Speaking on the launch of the vehicle, Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India said, “Having done business in the country for the last ten years, MINI India is proud to introduce a fully electric car for the first time in the compact premium segment. ‘

According to BMW, the Mini is equipped with a power of 184 horsepower or 135 kWh. This car can accelerate from zero to 100 km in 7.3 seconds. Its battery capacity is 32.6 kWh per hour and it can run up to 270 kms on a single charge. (agency)
