Skoda Slavia Facelift
Skoda may launch the updated Slavia sedan on August 17 this year. The facelift model will see a new front grille, redesigned headlamps, connected LED light bar, new alloy wheels, updated LED tail lamps and a larger digital driver display. Apart from this, many cosmetic changes will also be made in the interior and exterior. Engine options will remain the same as before. It will have a 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine, which will be offered with a 6-speed manual or a new 8-speed automatic gearbox. At the same time, the 1.5-litre TSI engine will be available only with 7-speed DSG automatic transmission as before.
Skoda Kylaq Sportline
Skoda Kylak is getting tremendous love from Indian buyers. Now the company is preparing to launch its new Sportline variant. This variant will get blacked-out exterior elements, sporty styling and a more attractive look. At present it is not clear whether the new 8-speed automatic gearbox will be available in the Sportline variant or not. However, it will be provided with the same 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine, which generates 115 PS power and 178 Nm torque.
Skoda Superb Diesel
Skoda has confirmed the return of diesel engines in India and the Superb diesel could be among the first cars to make its debut. The diesel version of this premium sedan has also been spotted testing in India. It is expected to be launched around the festive season this year. This car will be brought to India in limited numbers as CBU (Completely Built Unit). It will get a 2.0-litre TDI turbo diesel engine, which will be offered with DSG automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive (AWD) system. This setup will prove to be excellent for long distance driving with excellent performance.
Skoda Octavia RS
After the bumper response to the first batch, Skoda is now preparing to bring the second batch of Octavia RS to India. This performance sedan will be equipped with many premium features. It will have features like electric sunroof, 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 12-speaker Canton audio system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and powered tailgate with gesture control. Talking about performance, it will be provided with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine, which generates 265 hp power and 370 Nm torque.
