New Delhi. Hyundai Motor is all set to launch the 2022 Tucson facelift SUV in India on August 10. Earlier it was to be launched on 4 August. But now this premium SUV of the company will beat vehicles like Citroen C5 Aircross in the segment. The company has also started booking the car, customers can book this SUV by paying 50 thousand rupees. Hyundai has now extended the launch date of the new Tucson facelift in India. Bookings have been started with Rs 50,000 onwards and those interested in the SUV can book the car through Hyundai dealerships or through the company’s official website. The new Tucson will be available in two trims – Platinum and Signature with the Platinum offering 45 standard safety features and the Signature with 60 standard safety features. Its special feature is that this is the first SUV from Hyundai, which will support Level 2 ADAS features in India. It will have automated sensing technology, cameras and radar sensors to detect an object. In difficult situations, this car will be able to apply the brakes on its own.

The new generation Hyundai Tucson has been updated with new looks. The SUV has a large grille with LED headlight. The headlight is placed in such a way that it appears to be part of the grille. LED fog lamps are found below. You have been given updated LED taillights in the rear of the SUV.

This SUV of the company has been brought with a strong engine. It gets two engine options 2.0-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engines. The petrol engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic and the diesel engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. While the petrol engine produces a maximum output of 156 PS, the diesel engine is capable of producing 186 PS of power.
