Mahindra will launch XUV 7XO in January 2026, which will have many new features compared to XUV 700.
Mahindra has made many exciting launches in the Indian market this year and this trend is going to continue till 2026. The company plans to launch several new models next year, three of which will be large SUVs, targeted at car lovers and premium family customers. Mahindra’s first big SUV XUV 7XO will be launched next year, which will be the facelift version of the existing XUV 700.
The company is planning to launch this new flagship ICE SUV on January 5 and pre-booking for it has also been started at a token amount of Rs 21,000. The XUV 7XO will get more attractive exteriors, which will include sharper headlamps, new six-slot upper grille, redesigned bumper, larger 19-inch alloy wheels and technical-looking taillamps like the XEV 9S.
Its interior will also see a major change, where a new dashboard, three 12.3-inch display screens, two-spoke steering wheel and new brown color theme will be given. It is confirmed to have a 6-way power front passenger seat along with Power Boss mode, while it is also expected to get features like AR HUD, ventilated second-row seats and dual wireless charging for both front and rear. In terms of engine and transmission, it will be given the same options as the XUV 700.
After this, the facelift version of Mahindra Scorpio-N will be launched, which the company introduced in 2022. The facelifted Scorpio-N is expected to get new bumpers, changed headlamp graphics, a new six-slot grille and new 17-inch alloy wheels. The cabin may get a new 10.25-inch display screen, new trim material and a new color scheme, while there is no possibility of any change in the engine and gearbox.
At the same time, just two months after launching the facelift of Thar, Mahindra has started work on another cosmetic update for its two-door version. The second facelift of the Thar will bring more significant design changes, including bi-LED projector headlamps, a new six-slot grille and larger 19-inch alloy wheels, which may be inspired by the Thar Rocks.
Apart from this, the new Thar is expected to get comfort features like ventilated front seats, power-folding ORVMs, passive keyless entry, auto-dimming IRVM and wireless smartphone charger. However, no changes are likely to be made to the engine and transmission.
