Nissan Gravite has a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which gives power of 72 PS and torque of 96 Nm.
Nissan has launched its new 7-seater MPV Gravite in India and its introductory ex-showroom price has been kept between Rs 5.65 lakh to Rs 8.93 lakh. This price will be applicable for the first 5,000 customers, for whom additional benefits are also being provided by the company. Gravite is being manufactured locally at the Chennai plant.
The biggest strength of the Nissan Gravite is its flexible seating layout. In this, seating arrangements can be made for 2 to 7 passengers. If needed, the third row can also be removed completely, which increases the luggage space significantly. The boot space in 5-seater setup becomes 625 liters, in 6-seater setup the boot space becomes 320 liters and in 7-seater setup the boot space becomes 84 liters.
This MPV is built on the same CMF-A+ platform on which the Renault Triber is based, although the Gravite has been given a new design to give it a distinct identity at the front and rear. The Gravite has a 20.32 cm touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Apart from this, features like 17.78 cm fully digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, automatic LED headlamp, walk-away lock, approach unlock and front and rear parking sensors are also available.
The cabin is provided with leatherette upholstery, front armrest, neck support and many storage spaces. There are AC vents for all three rows, along with separate airflow controls for the rear passengers. In terms of safety, Gravite has more than 30 standard safety features, which include 6 airbags, ESC, traction control, hill start assist, ABS with EBD and seatbelt reminder for all seats.
Talking about the engine, it has a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which gives power of 72 PS and torque of 96 Nm. For transmission, the option of 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT is available. Mileage is 19.3 kmpl in manual and 19.6 kmpl in AMT.
Nissan Gravite is available in five colours, which include Forest Green, Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Storm White and Metallic Grey. The company is also going to soon offer the option of dealer-fitted dual-cylinder CNG kit. Apart from this, the Gravite Launch Edition also gets JBL sound system, dual-channel dashcam, ambient lighting, cabin air purifier and some other additional features.
