It is not a new thing that compact SUVs are being liked a lot by the people in India and they have been dominating even in September 2025. Tata Nexon has again secured the first position by selling 22,573 units this month. This is almost double the sales compared to last year and has also been the best selling car in the country.
Sales of this SUV have increased by 97 percent year-on-year and its popularity remains constant. Regular feature updates, good security, affordable price and choice of many variants are the biggest reasons for its sale. At the same time, Tata Punch took second place with sales of 15,891 units, which is 16 percent more than the same period last year.
Its compact design and easy maneuverability have made it quite popular among first-time SUV buyers. This is why it remains the main reason for Tata’s strong sales every month. At the same time, Maruti Suzuki Front has retained the third position with domestic sales of 13,767 units.
