Tata Punch EV facelift may get new features along with updates in exterior and interior.
Tata Motors is preparing to launch the updated Punch EV in the Indian market on 20 February 2026. This electric SUV will come with design and feature updates in line with the recently launched ICE Punch facelift. Punch Electric has been present in the market for the last few years and considering its strong popularity, the company is bringing its update.
After this update, Tata Punch EV will be made more strong and competitive in the rapidly growing compact electric SUV segment. The 2026 Tata Punch EV facelift is expected to get redesigned front and rear bumpers, as well as updated lighting elements. Like the ICE Punch, a connected LED tail lamp setup can be seen in it, although some special changes can also be made for the EV version.
The special features of Punch EV like front-mounted charging port, connected LED DRLs and aero-style alloy wheels will remain the same. At the same time, its grill may get a new and updated design. Looking at the testing prototype, it is being speculated that Tata Motors may introduce ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) for the first time in Punch EV.

If this happens, it will make the Punch EV among the select compact electric SUVs in India that offer advanced safety technology. Inside the cabin, mild changes can be made to the dashboard and center console. Tata Motors may also consider offering a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system like the Nexon EV.
Also, it can continue to have a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, 360-degree camera, wireless smartphone connectivity. Currently, Punch EV comes with 25 kWh battery (approximately 265 km range) and 35 kWh battery (approximately 365 km range). The facelift model can be given a slightly larger battery and better range, making it stronger in the compact EV segment.

The price of the new Tata Punch EV facelift may be slightly higher than the existing model. Currently its price ranges between Rs 10 lakh to Rs 14.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Variant-wise features and final prices will be revealed at the time of launch.
