Volkswagen India is celebrating four years of the launch of its popular premium sedan Virtus. Launched in 2022, Virtus has been among the best-selling cars in the premium sedan segment for the last two years continuously. On this special occasion, the company has announced many attractive offers and benefits for customers across its dealership network across the country.
The company is offering Buy Now, Pay Later scheme, loyalty benefits, special anniversary offers and exclusive offers for doctors and chartered accountants on the entire variant range of Virtus. These offers are aimed at thanking existing customers and adding new customers to the Volkswagen family.
According to Volkswagen, on average a Virtus has been sold every 24 minutes in India over the last four years. The demand for this sedan remains constant even in the year 2026. Especially GT variants and models with automatic transmission have received the most love from the customers. This clearly shows that Virtus continues to be popular among buyers looking for better performance, premium experience and great driving dynamics.

Talking about engine options, Volkswagen Virtus has a 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine, which gives power of 115 PS and torque of 178 Nm. With this, the option of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic torque converter gearbox is available. Whereas the GT variant has a 1.5-litre TSI EVO turbo petrol engine, which produces 150 PS power and 250 Nm torque. It has the option of 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Talking about the features, Virtus has features like 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charger, electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, push-button start, cruise control, ambient lighting and 8-speaker sound system. For safety, it has been provided with features like 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Hill Hold Control, Rear Parking Camera, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
