Moradabad. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on SP President Akhilesh Yadav, asking whether he has gained some sense or is throwing dust in the eyes of the public. He is saying that if his government is formed then he will make Ayodhya shine, whereas the double engine government led by PM Modi has already made unprecedented development of Ayodhya. He said that there is no need for their cooperation there now. But, I am thankful that he finally accepted Ayodhya. This is an ideological victory of BJP. Sooner or later, the SP chief will also be seen chanting Lord Shri Ram and will publicly repent for the sin of firing sticks and bullets on Ram devotees. The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering in Moradabad on Monday after inaugurating/laying the foundation stone of 63 development projects worth more than Rs 365 crore of Moradabad City, Moradabad Dehat and Kundarki assembly constituencies, Municipal Corporation and Moradabad Development Authority.
He paid floral tributes to the portrait of donor Bhamashah ji on his birth anniversary and distributed certificates of appreciation to traders on Traders Welfare Day. CM inspected the stalls set up at the venue. He took a little girl in his lap, fed her milk with a spoon, caressed her and also gave her a toy. CM Yogi also released the coffee table book of the Municipal Corporation.
The Chief Minister said that the double engine government has already given a new identity to Ayodhya. Works like four lane road connectivity, double line of railway, airport in the name of Maharishi Valmiki, night shelter in the name of Nishadraj, restaurant in the name of Mata Shabari and Ram Ki Paidi have been done by the government. Now is the time for development of Mathura-Vrindavan and Banke Bihari region. If Akhilesh Yadav really wants to respect religious faith then he should openly speak in favor of Mathura-Vrindavan and Shri Krishna’s birthplace. One must overcome appeasement. Only then will the public believe in his changed stance.
He said that SP has Babri thinking. It works to divide the society in the name of caste, region and language. Referring to Sambhal, the CM said that if the society had been aware, there would have been no encroachment or damage to the ancient Harihar temple, 67 pilgrimage sites and 19 ancient wells. Society should always be alert to protect its heritage and culture.
The Chief Minister said that now there are no riots, curfew and disturbances in Uttar Pradesh. In the Kundarki assembly by-election, the public proved that now only Ramraj and not Babar will do. People voted in favor of development and good governance and made BJP candidate Thakur Ramveer Singh victorious. Earlier, government money was spent on building boundaries of cemeteries and on appeasement politics, whereas today the same money is being spent on the revival of temples, beautification of religious places, Ramayana Vatika, Constitution Vatika and works honoring the bravery of the army. Construction of a grand temple at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, unprecedented development of many religious places including Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Naimisharanya, Vidur Kuti and Mathura-Vrindavan has been done. Both heritage and development are moving forward together in the state.
The Chief Minister said that now there is a situation of “no curfew, no riot, all is well in UP” in the state. The government is working on a policy of zero tolerance against criminals. If someone plays with the safety of a daughter, kidnaps a businessman, interferes with the job of a youth or violates the rights of a farmer, then strict action will be taken against him.
CM Yogi said that SP’s political ground has continuously weakened. The people have chosen development and good governance. Rejected the politics of anarchy and appeasement. SP’s cycle is now punctured, its momentum has ended. Now there is no possibility left for him to move forward. If the opposition takes the name of Ram then it is also a positive change and it will be beneficial for it in future.
Making an important announcement for Moradabad, the Chief Minister said that the government will undertake the development of the corridor of the ancient temple of Guru Jambheshwar. This site is an important center of religious and cultural heritage of the state and the government will work with full commitment for its conservation and development. The establishment of a university in the name of Guru Jambheshwar and the overall development of the temple complex will create a new identity for Moradabad.
Paying tribute to Dau Dayal Khanna, senior leader of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement and personality of Moradabad, he announced that the name of the line crossing area will be changed to ‘Dau Dayal Khanna Nagar’. His revered Gurudev Mahant Avedyanath was the president of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagya Committee formed in the year 1983, while Dau Dayal Khanna remained associated with the entire movement as the General Secretary. He dedicated his entire life to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement. The government is taking this decision to honor his contribution.
The Chief Minister said that the life of Danveer Bhamashah is a unique example of sacrifice, patriotism and dedication. After the Haldighati war, Maharana Pratap faced an economic crisis and he had no resources left. Then Bhamashah dedicated his entire wealth for the defense of the nation. On the strength of the same money, Maharana Pratap continued the struggle for years and re-established control over many forts of Mewar. Bhamashah’s life even today inspires society and businessmen to contribute to the national interest.
CM Yogi said that traders are the backbone of the state’s economy. The state government has implemented many schemes for the welfare of traders. The government provides insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh to traders registered in GST. He called upon the businessmen to play an active role in the development of the state.
The Chief Minister said that nine years ago Moradabad was known for riots, curfew, anarchy, filth and disorder. Today, the same Moradabad has gained recognition across the country for the establishment of Guru Jambheshwar University, new identity of brass industry, talent of youth, innovation of farmers and as the major export hub of Uttar Pradesh. Now the city has wide roads, development is taking place as per smart city. Shri Ram Vatika, Samvidhan Vatika, beautification of parks and preservation of historical and mythological heritage are being done.
He said that after the year 2017, Uttar Pradesh has created a new identity in the fields of development, employment, investment and law and order. Earlier the state was called Bimaru State, but today the same Uttar Pradesh has become the ‘growth engine’ of the country’s economy. This change is the result of Modi ji’s leadership and the policies of the double engine government. In the last nine years, the state government has given government jobs to more than 9 lakh youth. Youth are getting opportunities in government services without discrimination and corruption.
The Chief Minister said that more than 96 lakh MSME units in Uttar Pradesh are providing employment to more than 3.25 crore people. After agriculture, the sector providing the highest employment has now become MSME. The state government has given new life to the MSME sector. Due to better law and order, investment friendly environment and industrial policy of the government, new industries are continuously being established in the state. This has increased employment opportunities and Uttar Pradesh is becoming one of the largest industrial states of the country.
He said that Uttar Pradesh has become the state with the maximum number of expressways in the country. Uttar Pradesh also has the maximum number of domestic and international airports. The state is rapidly developing as a logistics hub. The modern road network including Ganga Expressway, Purvanchal Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway has given new impetus to the development of the state. With the construction of new universities, medical colleges and modern infrastructure, Uttar Pradesh is becoming the first choice for investors. Now Uttar Pradesh is a revenue surplus state and has become one of the major states that are boosting the country’s economy.
Chief Minister Yogi said that SP and Congress have no vision of development. For these parties, development means only their families, whereas for the BJP government, the development of 25 crore people of the state is paramount. Wherever BJP MPs, MLAs, Mayors and other public representatives have been elected, development work has been done at a rapid pace.
He congratulated the people of Moradabad city, Kundarki and Moradabad Dehat on the inauguration and foundation stone laying of development projects. He handed over allotment letters to Neha Diwakar, Payal Jain, a check of Rs 9 crore as self-help group to Swati Verma, Kajal Saini, Chanchal Chauhan, Gargi Chauhan, Rupesh Rani and Ayushman card to Anita Sharma. Along with this, CM gave Bhamashah Samman Patra to Satyaprakash Gupta, Vibhor Kumar Gupta, Amit Kumar Goyal, Banwari Lal Tomar, Virendra Kumar, Amit Wadhwa, Lokpal Singh, Charu Gupta, Rahul Singh, Shailendra Prakash.
