It is alleged that Chaitanyanand Saraswati had installed CCTV cameras in almost every corner of the hostel of the institute, even around the bathroom. Chaitanyanand used to watch all the footage and also ask personal questions. According to the students, CCTV cameras were installed for safety, but they were actually used to monitor the girl students.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, the victims allege that Swami used to ask them obscene questions, such as if they have made physical relations with someone, and if they have made, have they used condoms. Many students also told that they were called in their private rooms late at night and were forced to go abroad. A complainant alleged that he was forcibly taken to Mathura.

In this case, three women staff members including an associate dean are also named in the FIR. He is accused of pressurizing the girl students, destroying evidence and changing their names to hide identity.
One victim told that Swami used to snatch his mobile phone, kept him separate in the hostel and kept an eye on every activity of his. On protesting, he also threatened to tell influential people as their secret.

60 -year -old Chaitanyanand Saraswati is absconding since August. According to the police, he is constantly trying to escape from the police by changing his disguise and hideout. The lookout circular has been issued against him. Mr. Sharda comes under the jurisdiction of the Indian Management and Research Institute, Sringeri Peeth. The bench had filed a police complaint against the accused Chaitanyanand.
