Bhagalpur, November 20 (). The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has registered a historic victory in the Bihar Assembly elections. JDU candidate won from Sultanganj assembly seat, while RJD was the second party. RJD candidate Chandan Sinha said on Thursday that the public has kept us in the opposition and we will always stand with them.
Speaking to , Chandan Sinha said, “Why would we feel sorry for the defeat? The public expressed confidence in me and gave 77,576 votes, which is the biggest asset of my life. When I get so many votes, there is no need to regret.
The RJD leader said that the election results clearly showed whom the public was with and whom they wanted to make MLA. Congress got only 2700 votes, which is around 1 percent, whereas we got around 38 percent votes. This clearly shows whose side the public was with. The decision taken by our leader was right.”
Explaining the future strategy, Chandan Sinha said, “We are always standing with the people. We were elected by the public in the role of opposition, during this time we are standing with them in every problem. We stood with them earlier also and are there even today. We will always struggle. If they step back from whatever announcements the NDA has made for the public before the elections, then we will come out on the streets and work to implement those announcements for the public.”
He said, “I have been constantly among the people. I have been going from village to village and standing with their problems. It is the result of people’s love that the people of Bihar gave me 77,576 votes. This is the biggest asset of my life and with this I will struggle further. I will always be available for the problems of Sultanganj.”
