Gayaji, 24 September (). Small Water Resources Minister Dr. Santosh Kumar Suman in the Bihar government thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the decision to cut GST slab. Describing it as a historic step, he said that this will provide great relief to the middle class from the decrease in inflation.
Dr. Santosh Kumar Suman, a minister in the Bihar government, said in a conversation with , “Changes in GST Slab are a historic step for middle class families. I thank PM Modi for this. I believe that the new rates of GST will benefit directly to the general public. The season of Diwali and festivals is coming close, so the economy will increase and the country will get new.
He said, “The change in GST slab is a big step and shows how strong the Prime Minister’s will is. This decision will definitely reduce inflation, increase shopping and will also provide employment to people. It is a historical and adventure step.”
Minister Santosh Kumar Suman targeted the Congress for the CWC meeting. He said, “The Congress has remembered Bihar after so long, then I thank them for this. If the Congress party wants to serve the people of Bihar and do something for them, then it should be separated from those who work to ruin and defame Bihar and establish Jungle Raj in the state. If the Congress does not work with such people, the public may not be able to pay attention to them.
Next Gen reforms under GST 2.0 have been implemented from September 22, which has started showing the impact in the markets. The general public and shopkeepers welcomed the decision and thanked the Prime Minister.
Under the new GST framework, the government has reduced the number of tax slabs to two-5 percent and 18 percent, which was the first four to 5 percent, 12 percent, 18 percent and 28 percent.
