Villagers say that women go to school with their children every morning, and as soon as they go out on the road, they bang plates and make noise.

When children in Chingwad could not go to school due to fear of bears, a bear attacked and killed an animal in the Pyada area adjacent to Chingwad. A bear attacked two cattle and injured them in Dharora village of Makumath in Ukhimath block. This incident happened on Monday night when the bear entered the cow shed of Laxman Singh Chauhan and injured his cattle. There is an atmosphere of fear in the area after this incident.
