Bharatpur. City Congress organized a meeting under the Save MNREGA campaign in Ward No. 41, which was presided over by City Congress President Dr. Dayachand Pachauri. In the meeting, in the presence of people of Ward 41, Dr. Pachauri targeted the BJP government and said that the MNREGA scheme is being misrepresented by changing its name.
He said that earlier this scheme was running in the name of Mahatma Gandhiji. Mahatma Gandhi sacrificed his life for the country, but the present government is trying to spread governance in the country. Dr. Pachauri also said that the government is treating the country’s Mahatmas and Shankaracharya unfairly. He said that inflation is at its peak and the common man, labourers, farmers and middle class are being exploited. Dr. Pachauri appealed to the ward residents that it is necessary to teach a lesson to such a government and it is necessary to form a farmer-labor government in the country.
The meeting was mainly attended by city spokesperson Digambar Singh Khatana, city organization general secretary Dr. Lokpal Singh, Mukesh Jatav, Awadhesh Sharma, Bashir Khan, Naval Singh, Arjun Singh, Poonam Chand Sharma, Raghuveer Singh, Prakash Maithali, Virendra Nagar, Deepak Lavania, Chandrakant Sharma, Inderjit Khatana, Ashish Rajput, Jitendra Singh, Bholaram, Bobby, Pappu Jatav, Chandrashekhar, Mangal Jatav, Many ward residents including Kamal, Jai Singh, Soran Singh were present.
The meeting was conducted by Awadhesh Sharma and in the end the vote of thanks was given by City Organization General Secretary Dr. Lokpal Singh.
