Medininagar. The body of a young man who had come to his in-laws’ house in Darudih village under Lesliganj police station area of Palamu district of Jharkhand was found hanging on Monday. Family members say that he has committed suicide. The police is investigating the case from every aspect. The deceased has been identified as Rupesh Mehta, resident of Sudna, Medininagar city. It was told that Rupesh had come to his in-laws house in Darudih about eight days ago to attend a marriage function. According to family members, everything was going normally at the wedding and Rupesh was also involved in the ceremony. Meanwhile, he suddenly committed suicide by hanging himself in his room. On Monday morning, when the family saw Rupesh hanging, there was chaos in the house. After this, the local villagers immediately informed the local police about the matter. As soon as information about the incident was received, Lesliganj police station reached the spot with its team.
The police brought down the body from the noose and completed the necessary legal procedure and sent it to Medini Rai Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) in Medininagar for post-mortem.
According to Lesliganj police station, considering the initial investigation and circumstances, this case appears to be a complete suicide. However, the exact reasons why the young man took such a step amid the happy atmosphere of the wedding are not yet known.
The police are investigating the matter in depth keeping in mind all other possible aspects including family dispute.
