New Delhi, July 6 (). New Delhi-based All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Sunday declared the results of the recruitment process for more than 460 vacant faculty posts ranging from Assistant Professor to Professor in more than 50 subjects at AIIMS New Delhi and AIIMS-CAPFIMS (Central Armed Police Forces Institute of Medical Sciences) campus at Maidan Garhi.
More than 3200 candidates had applied for 265 posts at AIIMS New Delhi and 199 posts at AIIMS-CAPFIMS campus. Blockchain digital technology was used to maintain confidentiality and transparency in this entire process which lasted for 6 months. The marks were digitally locked using a one-time password (OTP) to ensure complete integrity of the process.
The software prepared the final merit list using these marks and pre-determined algorithm. There was no role of human intervention in this except to resolve the situation of tie (equal points). This also made it possible to declare the final results early.
One of the largest recruitments in recent times, this recruitment process will enhance faculty availability, helping AIIMS and AIIMS-CAPFIMS improve patient care, teaching and research.
