Nuh, 20 September (). Nuh Roadways Depot in Haryana has made significant progress in the matter of revenue collection. This depot, which once ranked 19th, has now moved to sixth position in the state. Behind this achievement, the strategic changes and reforms led by the Depot General Manager (GM) Kuldeep Jangra are prominent.
The department is now getting revenue of 2 to 3 lakh rupees per day, which was about 5.50 lakh rupees per month from 81 buses earlier. Now this figure has reached about 8 lakh rupees per day.
GM Kuldeep Jangra made changes in rural and urban routes after taking charge, resulting in this change possible.
New routes such as Barkali-Panhana, Punhana via Shikrava-Noon, Noona via Utawad-Hatheen and Devla Nangli-Nuh have been started. Apart from this, the trips of girls education duct buses have been increased, due to which the students have got the facility in traffic.
Jangra said that strict action was taken against the indiscipline drivers and operators, which improved the functionality. The depot fleet recently included 22 new buses and 18 more new buses will be added in the next one month. 10 buses of old BS-4 category have been sent to Kurukshetra depot and 15 other buses will soon be transferred to Hisar depot.
He said that earlier buses used to travel an average of 20,000 km per day, which has now increased to 25,000 km per day. This not only increased revenue, but also provides better services to passengers. The next goal of GM is to crack down on illegal vehicles. Recently an illegal bus was challaned, which had been on the streets of Noonh, violating the rules for a long time.
GM Kuldeep Jangra said that the campaign against illegal vehicles will be intensified in collaboration with RTA and Police Department, so that revenue can be further increased and Nuh depot can be included in the top three in the state.
The focus of Haryana Roadways Depot Nuh is now on connecting rural areas with bus services, where direct bus service was not available for decades. Due to these reforms, Nuh depot has become a topic of discussion not only in terms of revenue but also in service quality in the state.
