Jodhpur. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached Jodhpur on Thursday on a one-day visit. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma welcomed him cordially at Jodhpur Air Force Station and welcomed him to the land of Rajasthan by presenting him a bouquet. Many senior leaders of the Central and State Government were present at the Air Force Station during the welcome of the Defense Minister. These include Union Tourism and Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Rajya Sabha MP Rajendra Gehlot, Pali MP P.P. Choudhary, city MLA Atul Bhansali and Sursagar MLA Devendra Joshi were the prominent ones. Along with this, many public representatives including former MP Ramnarayan Dudi, Narayan Panchariya, District Collector Alok Ranjan and Police Commissioner Sharat Kaviraj were also present. The main attraction of this visit of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is the grand ceremony to be organized at Ratanada Circle. This afternoon he met former Chief Minister of Rajasthan and former Vice President of the country Late. Bhairon Singh Shekhawat’s statue will be formally unveiled. Huge enthusiasm is being seen among the city residents and workers regarding this program.
