Tonk. Under the Chief Minister Vikas Gram Abhiyan, special gram sabhas were organized in the gram panchayats of the district on 25 April. In the same sequence, CEO Parshuram Dhanka joined Panchayat Samiti Piplu’s Gram Panchayat Sohela and Tonk’s Gram Panchayat Devli Bhachi. In these meetings, important topics like developed India, complete sanitation, health, electricity and water were discussed. The common people informed the officials about major problems like electricity, water and health.
Chief Executive Officer Parshuram Dhanka gave detailed information about public participation in rural development and effective implementation of government schemes in the Mukhyamantri Vikas Gram Abhiyan. He said that under this, a master plan for short, medium and long term overall rural development will be prepared. He said that youth, women, farmers and deprived sections should get proper benefits in various government schemes and their active participation in development work will be ensured.
There was enthusiasm among the villagers throughout the event and they reiterated their resolve to cooperate in village development.
