To promote modern agricultural technology in the state, a new initiative has been started in Khejri and Kotri villages of Panchayat Samiti Hurra of Bhilwara district. Now farmers are being given the facility to spray nano fertilizers and medicines on crops through drone technology.
This facility has been made available to farmers at concessional rates in collaboration with IFFCO (Indian Farmers Fertilizer Co-operative Limited). With the help of drone technology, it is possible to spray nano urea in one acre of field in just a few minutes.
Farmers say that this technology is saving time and the dependence on human labor has reduced significantly. Additionally, drone spraying is more uniform and effective than traditional methods, which is expected to increase crop quality and productivity.
Agricultural experts say that drone technology increases precision in farming and nutrients and medicines reach the crops in equal quantity. This will not only increase crop production but will also reduce the costs of farmers.
The local administration and agriculture department have welcomed the initiative and said there are plans to expand it to more villages in the future. Farmers are also being given training so that they can use this technology correctly and effectively.
This initiative is being considered an important step towards adopting modern agricultural technology in the state and increasing the income of farmers.
