Jaipur. Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister Diya Kumari assured the Assembly on Tuesday that on receiving a complaint of an officer in relation to the delay in the development works of Pratap Canal-Bharatpur, necessary action will be taken. He informed that a draft DPR has been prepared by Executive Agency Municipality, Vair for the development works of Pratap Canal-Bharatpur. In this regard, a revised DPR is being prepared at the level of the municipality on the basis of various suggestions given by the Directorate Autonomous Government. In the revised DPR, the work order can be issued after necessary approval and tender action.
Diya Kumari was answering the supplementary questions asked by the member in this regard during the Question Hour. He said that the DPR was prepared by the Executive Agency and Museum Department for the tourism development work of the white palace and Pratap Phulwari of Vai-Bharatpur and the tender was received in March 2025 by issuing tender for the work done according to the DPR. The work of 425.16 lakhs has been issued to the Tender Firm by the Executive Agency on September 4, 2025. He said that this work will be completed by September 2027. Under the work order, it is proposed to be repaired, repair of Vair Fort and White Palace, repair of broken straps, repair of rooms inside the palace and repairing the square.
Earlier, in a written reply to MLA Bahadur Singh’s original question, the Tourism Minister said that the Executive Agency Archaeological and Museum Department was selected in relation to the tourism development work of the white palace and Pratap Phulwari located at Vidhi Sabha constituency and the Executive Agency Municipal Corporation, Vair in relation to the tourism development works of Pratap Canal-Bharatpur.
Vair- He put a copy of the work order of 425.16 lakhs issued by the Executive Agency on September 4, 2025 by the Executive Agency for the tourism development work of white palace and Pratap Phulwari of Bharatpur. He said that the time taken in the implementation of these development works has been due to the selection of executive agency, preparing and its approval and time taken in the tender process.
