This scheme is especially suitable for those who want a safe investment option for up to one and a half years, who want fixed interest without risk, and for senior citizens who want higher interest rates than other schemes. Investment in Amrit Vrishti Scheme can be done from both SBI branch and digital channels (like internet banking, YONO app). All it requires is a savings account, KYC documents and a deposit amount.

Apart from this, the interest rate on FD from 46 days to 179 days will be around 4.90% for general customers and 5.40% for senior citizens. The rate has been fixed at 6.45% for 2-3 years. For a tenure of 5-10 years, the rate is 6.05% for general customers and 7.05% for senior citizens.
Nevertheless, SBI V-Care Deposit Scheme is a scheme especially for senior citizens. This scheme offers interest rates above 7% on fixed deposits of 5-10 years. SBI has launched this scheme especially for senior customers to ensure that they get safe and high returns.
