Mumbai, February 4 (). Actress Sonali Kulkarni will soon be seen in director Madhur Bhandarkar’s film ‘The Wives’. Sonali posted on social media that the shooting of the film has been completed. He had a great journey with the team and is excited about the release of the film.
Sonali Kulkarni took to Instagram to express her happiness over the completion of the shooting of the film. Posting pictures of the celebration with the team, Sonali wrote, “And the shooting of ‘The Wives’ is over… what a wonderful journey it has been.”
Sonali thanked the entire team, cast, crew and technicians who worked hard day and night to complete this project. He also told that this project has special significance for him. Sonali further wrote, “Grateful to the team for making this story so amazing, magical, crazy and full of energy. A lot of passion, hard work and heart has been put into every frame. Lots of love and respect to the cast, crew and everyone behind the scenes. This journey has been really very special and wonderful.”
The film is being produced under the banner of Bhandarkar Entertainment and PJ Motion Pictures. Director Madhur Bhandarkar also informed about the completion of the shooting on Instagram. He wrote, “Today the shooting of my 16th film The Wives has ended. It is an original and fascinating story based on the glamorous world of star wives. It is very exciting to complete this project. This would not have been easy without your support, it means a lot to us. Many thanks to the dedicated actors and technicians.”
Madhur Bhandarkar told about the film that ‘The Wives’ shows those personal lives beyond the limelight, which are often hidden due to fame. It is a story of relationships, ambition, insecurity and emotional survival, set in a world driven by image and success. He said, “I wanted to tell this story with honesty and sensitivity. The cast and crew have helped bring it to light on screen.”
Apart from Sonali Kulkarni, the film stars Mouni Roy, Regina Cassandra, Rahul Bhatt, Saurabh Sachdeva, Arjan Bajwa and Freddy Daruwala in lead roles. Other actors will also be seen in important roles. With the completion of the shooting of ‘The Wives’, post-production work has started. The makers have not announced the release date.
