Ajmer. Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Ajmer, in a major action, has arrested Nathulal Mahawar, Technical Supervisor and Office Assistant Engineer, posted at Pavas Kekri, District Ajmer, red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 14,000. The accused had asked for this bribe amount from the complainant in exchange for issuing approval under Surya Ghar PM Scheme. According to ACB Director General Govind Gupta, the bureau had received a complaint that Mahawar was demanding Rs 14,000 for issuing the clearance. The bribe demand was verified on December 3, 2025, in which it was confirmed that the amount had been fixed. After this, under the supervision of Superintendent of Police ACB Ajmer Range Mahavir Singh Ranaut, the team led by Police Inspector Kanchan Bhati conducted a trap action and arrested the accused taking bribe today.
The interrogation of the accused is continuing under the direction of ACB Additional Director General Smita Srivastava. A case has been registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act and further investigation is being done.
