Amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi spoke over telephone with his Pakistani counterpart Ishaq Dar. During this conversation, he made serious allegations against the United States. He said the US has broken trust on many occasions in the past, and recent events are further evidence of this pattern. Araqchi specifically mentioned the events of June and March 2025, when the US took military action against Iran despite ongoing diplomatic negotiations.
Abbas Araqchi stressed that, even recently, the US has violated the ceasefire and made threats to target Iran’s ports, coasts and ships. Apart from this, America is continuously issuing harsh and threatening statements. According to Araqchi, America’s demands lack clarity; They change frequently and sometimes contradict each other.

The Iranian Foreign Minister said that all these factors clearly show that America’s intentions are not good and it is not taking diplomacy seriously. He further indicated that such an attitude undermines the prospects of any kind of dialogue or agreement.
