Patna,Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav, MP from Purnia, Bihar, said that we will have to contest the elections under the leadership of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. He said that the people of Bihar trust him.
While talking to the media, Pappu Yadav said that change is necessary in Bihar and India coalition government should be formed. He said that the matter will be resolved on the seats where RJD-Congress have fielded their candidates. There will be a joint press conference on Thursday. The leadership will decide what to do, what not to do and what happens next. We are saying that our leaders are ready to make any sacrifice to save Bihar. We want Bihar to survive under any circumstances and a grand alliance government should be formed here.
Emphasizing on making Congress leader Rahul Gandhi the face for Bihar elections, Pappu Yadav said that there are only two faces in Bihar, on one side there is PM Modi and on the other side there is Rahul Gandhi. Nitish Kumar is a nominal face. My clear opinion is that we should contest elections under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi at any cost. The people of Bihar, whether Dalits or extremely backward classes, trust Rahul Gandhi’s struggle.
He also suggested that 12 candidates should withdraw their names to end their differences so that the Grand Alliance can fight the elections unitedly.
Let us tell you that in some assembly seats of Bihar, where Congress has fielded candidates, RJD has also fielded its candidates. Due to which the stir in Congress has intensified.
Pappu Yadav has said on many occasions that Congress has always maintained the dignity of the alliance. But, those who dream of becoming Chief Minister should also follow the coalition dharma.
Voting will be conducted in Bihar in two phases, on November 6 and 11, and the results will be declared on November 14.
